Full Body Workout

This efficient full-body workout is designed to build strength you can actually use—layering lower-body power, upper-body strength, and deep core control in just 20 minutes. Every movement is intentional, challenging your stability, coordination, and muscular endurance without sacrificing form.

Expect to feel grounded, connected, and powerful.

💪 Muscles Targeted

  • Transversus abdominis → deep core stability + spinal support

  • Obliques → anti-rotation + control through movement

  • Rectus abdominis → trunk flexion + core endurance

  • Glutes→ hip stability, power, and alignment

  • Hamstrings → posterior chain strength + hip extension

  • Quadriceps → knee stability + controlled lowering (lunges/squats)

  • Calves (soleus) → ankle stability + balance support, absorbs landing impact from jumps

  • Chest (pectorals) → stabilize the shoulder girdle, maintain open, upright posture

  • Shoulders (deltoids) → upper-body stability + load control

  • Triceps → arm extension + push strength, crucial for floorwork and lifts

  • Back (lats + rhomboids + traps) → posture + upper-body integration, core and spinal support, stability and rotational power for turns

  • Hip stabilizers (including deep rotators) → balance, control, and clean movement mechanics, essential for long-term career health

💃 For Dancers

This flow builds strength that transfers directly into your movement.

You’ll feel more supported in transitions, more stable in balances, and more connected through your core—helping you move with control in turns, jumps, floorwork, and directional changes. Cross-training isn’t optional– we need to build adequate strength to support us through long dance days and performances.

Jenna tid-bit: This workout literally contains my favorite tried-and-true exercises. They are effective, they are intentional, and they really are “bang for your buck” exercises, meaning they are highly efficient movements that provide the maximum physical benefit for the time and effort you invest.
