Arms + Stability Series

Here’s an arm-strengthening workout that builds stability, balance, and smart strength to support your movement, posture, and control. You’ll target the deltoids, triceps, and key shoulder stabilizers — including the supraspinatus (rotator cuff), trapezius, serratus anterior, and deep core — while adding in single-leg balance for an extra stability challenge.

By pairing controlled arm work with single-leg balance, you’ll train your neuromuscular system, improving coordination and proprioception. The low-weight, high-rep format builds muscular endurance so your arms can stay strong and lifted — even in that endless second position 😉.

💪 Muscles Targeted

  • Deltoids + rotator cuff (supraspinatus) → shoulder stability and control

  • Triceps → arm strength + endurance

  • Trapezius + serratus anterior → scapular stability and posture

  • Deep core stabilizers → full-body balance and alignment

  • Ankle + hip stabilizers → single-leg control and steadiness

💃 For Dancers

This series builds the upper-body strength and stability needed for lifted, controlled port de bras, while improving balance and alignment through single-leg work. It helps you maintain cleaner lines, steadier balances, and stronger control in turns and transitions — all while training your arms to feel lighter, more supported, and less fatigued in class and performance.
